EMPLOYEE INTERVIEWS Interviews
-
- Let us interview an employee who joined in April! With honesty, could you tell us your impressions of the atmosphere and training when you joined the company?
- Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the training was conducted over the phone from home. Since I was at home, I was able to relax while doing the training, but it was unfortunate that there were fewer opportunities to communicate. However, thanks to my training officer, seniors, and classmates, I was able to enjoy the training period!
-
- I hope you had a great time even if it was a remote training! As you are now out in the field after completing the training, what kind of work do you do?
- I am involved in the development of system for managing construction-related information. I mainly handle tasks from planning to production and testing.
-
- It has been a year and a half since you started working as an engineer, but do you often find things difficult?
- You see, I am still inexperienced so I am keenly aware that my field experience and programming knowledge are not yet enough. However, it is very rewarding when the program I wrote works. (laughs)
-
- It is important to have moments when you feel a sense of accomplishment! As a full-fledged member of society, are there any things that you are conscious of when it comes to your work?
- I keep in mind the communication with other team members. If there are discrepancies in information, it will take time to redo the work. Thus, I place great importance on communication in order to reduce this as much as possible.
-
-
You are referring to the so-called "Ho-Ren-So"*, right? I hope you will continue to value that awareness! While your career as an engineer is progressing smoothly, are there any things that you hope or dream to do?
*Note: Ho-Ren-So is a communication and collaboration system prevalent in the Japanese business world. This is an acronym for "Hokoku" or "to report", "Renraku" or "to contact", and "Soudan" or "to consult". -
I want to be able to do all kinds of things through exposure to various systems and programs!
My dream is to create a game where artificial intelligence can understand emotions.

-
- Being involved in artificial intelligence and games requires a great deal of skills, so I hope that you will do your best! I would like to ask you about the company - if there are any points that make Style Free great, please share it with us!
- There is an in-house competition where you can submit your own work. If it is well-received, I might get the chance to develop and release my own work someday!
-
- The competition is held every year, and everyone has a chance. My classmate got an honorable mention in his first year as a new graduate, so I was very impressed at that time. (laughs) Lastly, please give a message to job-hunting students!
- I know things are difficult during this time, but please do your best in your job search. We look forward to seeing you when you join Style Free!
